The Reverse Mullet

We've been focused on the front elevation lately, but that doesn't mean things aren't happening at the back of Norris House.

In fact, we're working on a pretty serious reverse mullet: party up front, business in the back.  The front of the first floor will most definitely be party space, ready for all kinds of special events.  The back is where serious business occurs.  We've got a series of conference rooms and a commercial kitchen going in back there, along with a small addition to provide some much needed storage space.

The exterior of the rear addition is coming along nicely.  Here's a quick peek of the new masonry foundation:

Windows and doors are on the way.  This is essentially our employee entrance, easily accessible from on site parking out back.

When it's complete, Norris House will be a hive of activity as the home of three separate enterprises.  We'll be the new home of local law firm Anderson Jones, PLLC.  Raleigh's own Five Points Baking Company will move production into the commercial kitchen at Norris House, and expand operations with a small direct retail operation on site as well.  Special event services on site will be coordinated through Norris House LLC.  If you're interested in hosting your event at Norris House when she's ready, keep an eye on this website.  Feel free to reach out on the contact page for details.
